Prof. Mohammad Adnan Latief, B.A., Drs., M.A., Ph.D., was born in desa Seketi, kecamatan Ngadiluwih, kabupaten Kediri, Jawa Timur, March 04, 1951 to ibu Kasini (alm.) and Ayah Abdul Latief (alm.), with 3 siblings: Siti Nuryani (eldest sister), Drs. Masyhuri Latief (younger brother) and (alm) Mohammad Harun Al Rosyid (the youngest brother)
